Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Designer to join our real estate development team. The ideal candidate will design, plan, and execute electrical systems for residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects. Proficiency in Dialux and other design software is required to create energy-efficient and compliant lighting designs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Electrical Design & Planning:
   • Design electrical systems (lighting, power distribution, cabling, fire alarms, etc.) in compliance with project requirements, local codes, and standards.
   • Develop energy-efficient lighting layouts using Dialux and other tools.
   • Prepare single-line diagrams, circuit diagrams, and electrical load calculations.
2. Lighting Design:
   • Utilize Dialux to design optimized lighting systems for residential and commercial spaces.
   • Conduct lighting simulation, calculation, and renderings to meet project specifications and aesthetics.
3. Code Compliance:
   • Ensure all designs adhere to relevant electrical standards (e.g., IS Codes, IEC, and local regulations).
   • Coordinate with QA/QC teams for compliance and inspections.
4. Project Documentation:
   • Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities), material specifications, and cost estimates for electrical components.
   • Maintain accurate and detailed records of designs, revisions, and approvals.
5. Team Collaboration:
   • Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, and MEP consultants to integrate electrical designs seamlessly into overall project plans.
   • Provide technical support and guidance to site engineers during the execution phase.
6. Site Supervision & Troubleshooting:
   • Conduct site visits to monitor the installation of electrical systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical design, preferably in the real estate industry.
• Proficiency in Dialux for lighting design and simulation.
• Hands-on experience with AutoCAD, Revit (MEP), and other design tools.
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and load calculations.
• Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
• Ability to work on multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
