Job Description:

Position Overview: This is a strategic leadership role that combines sales expertise with a deep understanding of interior design concepts. This role is responsible for driving sales efforts for interior fitout solutions while leveraging design knowledge to offer tailored and creative solutions to clients. The Sales Head plays a pivotal role in achieving revenue targets, building client relationships, and contributing to the success of interior fitout projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Strategy and Planning:
  • Develop a comprehensive sales strategy for interior fitout solutions, incorporating design principles to create unique and appealing offerings.
  • Align the sales strategy with the company’s business objectives and market trends.
  1. Team Leadership and Management:
    • Lead and manage the sales team, comprising sales executives, consultants, and coordinators, fostering a collaborative and design-driven approach.
    • Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure the team can effectively promote and sell innovative interior fitout concepts.
  2. Client Relationship Management:
    • Cultivate strong relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their design preferences, functional needs, and project requirements.
    • Collaborate with clients to develop customized interior fitout solutions that exceed expectations.
  3. Design-Infused Sales Process:
    • Infuse design knowledge into the sales process, using creative concepts and visual representations to showcase the potential of interior fitout solutions.
    • Collaborate with the design team to ensure seamless integration of design and sales efforts.
  1. Project Consultation and Conceptualization:
    • Provide design-focused consultations to clients, translating their visions into tangible design proposals.
    • Collaborate with clients and the design team to develop innovative design concepts that align with clients’ goals.
  2. Proposal Development and Presentations:
    • Oversee the creation of persuasive sales proposals and presentations that showcase the aesthetic and functional value of interior fitout solutions.
    • Review and approve key proposals before client submission.
  3. Sales Performance Tracking:
    • Define and track design-specific key performance indicators (KPIs) for the sales team, assessing the effectiveness of design-infused sales approaches.
    • Regularly review sales performance data to optimize design-led sales strategies.
  4. Market Insights and Design Trends:
    • Stay informed about design trends, industry innovations, and emerging technologies to enhance design-driven sales offerings.
    • Provide insights on design trends that can shape the company’s interior fitout solutions.
  1. Budget Management & Reporting
  • Monitor project budgets and expenditures, ensuring that they align with the approved proposal.
  • Control costs and seek cost-effective solutions without compromising design quality.
  • Collaborate with finance to develop sales budgets and forecasts that align with design-led strategies.
  • Provide regular sales reports and updates to senior management, highlighting design-driven achievements and opportunities.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Proven track record of success in sales, particularly within the interior fitouts or construction industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and design presentation abilities.
  • Proficiency in interior design principles, spatial planning, and design software.
  • Familiarity with sales technologies and CRM systems.
  • Analytical skills to interpret sales data, market insights, and design trends.
  • Client-focused approach and the ability to deliver exceptional design-driven solutions.
  • Adaptability to changing market conditions and evolving design preferences.
